FUTURE STARS 2010

The 3rd Future Stars International Junior Basketball Tournament & Coaching Conference this year presents some exciting new developments. In 2010 for the first time, Future Stars will take place in two different European cities over two successive weeks.

Future Stars England 2010 will take place in Kingston upon Thames, London, England from 8th - 11th July 2010 followed by Future Stars Poland 2010 which will take place in Krakow, Poland from 15th 18th July 2010.

In addition to this new expansion, Future Stars are pleased to welcome The Luol Deng Foundation as community partners in the London Event, and Marcin Gortat and his MG13 Foundation, together with other community ambassadors from the NBAs Orlando Magic, as community and coaching conference partners in the Poland Event.

Future Stars England International Junior Tournament 2010, hosted by Richmond upon Thames College in partnership with London United Basketball Club, will feature the national U18 basketball teams from France, Croatia, Sweden, Poland and England.

Future Stars Poland International Junior Tournament 2010, organised in conjunction with Polish Basketball Federation, will showcase the talents of the future stars in the national U18 teams of Spain, France, Slovenia Sweden and Poland.

The host Richmond Select team will take part in both Events. The Richmond team this year will comprise gifted and talented young basketball players from all over the country, selected and prepared by the organisers of Future Stars in partnership with The Luol Deng Foundation.  >> more
